Winter Break: Tilting over Bernal Hill

Winding down is always a challenge for me, especially at the end of a semester because the last few weeks are always chalk-full of so many SHOWS. And all of the feelings that come along with the opening and closing of shows: excitement, joy, nervousness, sadness, satisfaction, a type of intoxicating performance energy that’s difficult to understand unless you’ve experienced it before… The whole semester is pretty much go-go-go, but the last few weeks especially so.

SO, in an attempt to UNWIND, and focus on myself, and all the relaxing possibilities and rejuvenating potential of Winter break, I’m making a concerted effort to step away from my computer and move into more natural spaces. I actually made a list of places in SF I’m curious about and haven’t yet explored. Bernal Hill was one of them. It makes for a beautiful walk and it feels simply wonderfully to just be able MOVE in high open space.
